We have just as much talent as what Meyer had at UF. The guys he's recruited at OSU have fit our system better, and some are still early in their careers to tell what they'll become. Meyer signed 6 RBs while at UF and all were 4stars. That's the same average he has at OSU. Recruiting is a crap shoot and he's been luckier at OSU in getting Carlos AND Zeke!

And that was pretty much the entire list of prototypical backs, other than transfer E Moody from USC. It wasn't like he just settled for speedsters to compliment Tebow (and Newton), he tried to get the big backs and failed regularly.

He was one of the best players I ever faced in HS. And I was senior and he was a frosh at Lockland(where he coaches now). We "shut him down" and he still 114yds! Kid was crazy good in HS.

No, we have more RB takent than he had at FL. It's not even close.

I get the frustration, but it's not like he was ripping off huge runs when he got the ball (his long in 12 carries was 7 yards). Not that any of this was his fault (OSU was getting its ass kicked at the line of scrimmage); my point rather is that the run game didn't justify him getting more carries.

Thing with Zeke is carry #12 could go for 80 yds
