RB Ezekiel Elliott (All B1G, All-American, National Champion, Pro Bowl, All Pro, Dallas Cowboys)

I get the frustration, but it's not like he was ripping off huge runs when he got the ball (his long in 12 carries was 7 yards). Not that any of this was his fault (OSU was getting its ass kicked at the line of scrimmage); my point rather is that the run game didn't justify him getting more carries.

Barrett averaging something like 2 yards a carry didn't warrant him getting 30 touches in the run game either...

you can't tell the other team you aren't even going to pretend to pass the ball and then call out the RB for not getting yardage.

Couldn't have been worse than watching JT run for 0-1 yards over and over and over.

Our defense wore down at the end because of the constant run blocking and fresh runners they kept sending at us. Plus, their OC was at least a little creative in the play calling and who was getting the ball. SMH

If Zeke gets 25 carries in that game it is at least conceivable that holes start opening and they get worn down as well. Thats the way it works.

Our play calling is now the only thing that has officially stopped Zeke. True story

Last year in East Lansing, the pass game opened up the run. I'm not saying there wasn't an increased role for Zeke in this game, but giving him more carries without doing it in conjunction with an increased effort to pass wasn't going to go anywhere. It would've been him getting 0-1 yards instead of JT.

I wish he hadn't been outspoken about his feelings here myself. He is sounding a little selfish. It is a team effort, you win as a team and lose as a team. I am sure Braxton wishes he touched it more too. But, you just cannot say these things publicly. This is worrisome that we are going to have some dissension in the locker room and this is not good heading into the ScuM game.

Urban is going to be more than disappointed.

I know he is a competitor and wishes they would have won. Butt he has let his emotions lead him into saying things in the media that are going to harm the team. I have already watched the scroll at the bottom of ESPN and this is going to be a huge story. For a reason too.

As much as I agree with Zeke that the play calling SUCKED ASS, I wish he would have kept his feelings out of the media.
