RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

If broken bones can't keep Beanie out of games, then I'd be damned if soreness after carrying the rock 25 times in practice, in which he looked good carrying the ball, will. Today's is Thursday, and Beanie's sore. Get the big man a couple of days of rest, and yeah, you betcha he'll be ready. :osu:

I find it doubtful that Beanie is not going to play. There is no doubt in my mind that he is sore as hell, but I also know unless he fucked up his foot in practice, he doesn't go from 75 percent to doubtful.

I do not know if Carroll is buying it, but if he reacted the same way he did when I found out the news, then I have a feeling, he is just as nervous as I am...as to whether he plays or not.

Are you speaking in some type of code Grad? :wink2:

None. I swear that and want to emphasize that. However, when they discussed Beanie so openly last night, my immediate thought was how strange that was....so when this came out, I'd already kinda expected it.

FWIW, Vegas has taken the game off the board.

Rest up today, Rest up Friday, little workout/warm-up on Saturday, then play Saturday night.

Rest on Sunday....maybe even into the Wisconsin game.

Not saying Beanie should go at all costs, but if it's only soreness after a full-day of practice/game, then he can (and I imagine he will) play against USC and worry about soreness later.
