RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

BINGO!

Everyone knows Carroll won't be fooled. But those 18-21 year olds hear the news and start figuring this game is won before it is even played. Overconfidence combined with complacency will not help USC on Saturday.

GOT 2 from x-players and his cousin just told me on the phone but, BEANIE WANTS TO. Who knows now, as much, I want him to play I don't want him to ruin his NFL CAREER.

I guess it depends if he can do damage to it by playing. If he risks hurting it more and missing the rest of the season or not playing again I say hold him out. If they tape him up and he just has to worry about playing through the pain I say do what he can do before the pain is too much. He can rest for a couple weeks after this if it's just about being sore.

I didn't want to have to do this, but here goes.

I'll suit up. I may not be as fast, strong, tall, or weigh as much, but I do have a downright nasty stiff arm, and I can make a really mean face. It scares the shit out of my nephew. Ray Malualalauaalaga, be afraid...be very afraid.

Wells was sore as heck after practice and the doctor/trainer told him nope on playing. What Tressel said, is correct and it will be BEANIES CALL IF HE FEELS FINE. I doubt it but, if he wants too. GO BEANIE

I guess the question is then, has the team been practicing as if Beanie will be a big part, or did they immediately shift the USC game plan after Beanie got hurt?

I'm kind of just thinking out loud here. But maybe after YSU, the coaches had to totally rethink everything regarding their plan to beat USC and starting putting in all kinds of new plays during Ohio week. Maybe that's why the team seemed so out of sync for last weeks game? Maybe we really were looking toward USC already and then went back to all vanilla crap for game day against Ohio thinking we didn't really need to game plan for Ohio much. Does that make any sense? If not just disregard...I'm freaking out just a little. :)

At this point, I can't care anymore. I'm so psyched up for the game already, and it's only Thursday, that if I keep pregaming I'm going to wind up head butting my wife and tackling the dog. I hope he plays, I hope it's all just a smokescreen, and I hope JL is actually a robot with laser beam eyes and rocket launcher arms. The game is going to turn out how it turns out and I can't change it, so I'm not going to worry anymore.

That being said, I hope the kid is OK. He's got a load of talent and a bright future, and I'd hate to see him mortgage it all for one game by doing something stupid. If he can't play, he can't play.

Don't underestimate yourself. You are a fat drunk. It's a double whammy on the field. Your whiskey-soaked breath can stun em just long enough for you to sit on em and hold em down. That way, you can pop a cold one while the Bucks make a td.
