Game Thread Ohio State at Penn State, 10/22/16, 8:00pm ET ABC/WatchESPN

You literally cannot take on powerhouse programs coming off "bye weeks" and just expect us to roll.

We have a [Mark May]load of glaring issues to fix, but PSU literally could've played a high school team last week, and it would've lead us to a victory. PSU and Wisky had 2 weeks to prepare for us. That's massive.

The Big 10 has some "splainin' to do". I promise you this was an issue immediately behind the scenes. I worked for FSU multiple years and know how this stuff goes. We haven't said [Mark May] publically but come playoff time it will be all over the place. You DO NOT schedule consecutive road games at 8pm against powerhouses coming off byes.

That's absurd. We almost thread the needle...it's why I said we deserved a [Mark May]load of credit if we won tonight. Really tough situation....

With your permission, I'm posting this all over social media and the entire internet.

welps, this is what happens when your young. would have preferred to have NOT lost to pedo state though.

kinda ironic, jt (imo) has his best game of the year. was decisive in his throws and decisions. i think i saw 1 bad pass and 2 bad decisions tonight. one of those bad decisions even went for a completion. but the oline just got straight up dominated and im starting to understand why the coordinators are calling the games the way they are. the wr's are not in a good place currently. mix in a fumble lost on a punt and a blocked punt that went for a td. thats a reciepe for a loss in and of itself.

guess it just goes to show how talented this team is because if the oline is even able to fight to a stalemate we win. or conversely if the special teams doesn't give up 10 points we win.*shrug* not something i feel "better" about in this moment, but i probably should.

extremely disappointing loss. weaknesses were absolutely on display. lots of areas to improve and learn from. but again, with a team this young it would be absolutely shocking for a game like this to not happen at some point.

time to get back to work boys and file down some of those warts.

(b) If three or more teams are tied, steps 1 through 6 will be followed until a determination is made. If only two teams remain tied after any step, the winner of the game between the two tied teams shall be the representative.
1. The records of the three tied teams will be compared against each other.
2. The records of the three tied teams will be compared within their division.
3. The records of the three teams will be compared against the next highest placed teams in their division in order of finish (4, 5, 6, and 7).
4. The records of the three teams will be compared against all common conference opponents.
5. The team with the best overall winning percentage [excluding exempted games] shall be the representative.
6. The representative will be chosen by random draw.

What the fuck? Random draw?
Yep, that's not accurate. It's highest rated. So osu most likely. Maybe outside shot of UM if they lose on the road at OSU on a fluke. But even then OOC would probably cost them.

Both those teams were much, much better than this team and they lost at home to far inferior teams costing us the National Championship in both years.
No. This PSU team was garbage. GARBAGE. GARBAGE. GARBAGE. GARBAGE.

this is the worst team I can recall losing to.

Didn't seem to bother Boeckman in 07, or Braxton in 13 when he won it by himself. Do any of you realize who we just lost to?

Not if the pedsters win out.
If they win out and we win out (provided Michigan's only loss is to us), there'll be three teams in the East with 8-1 conference records, and each will be 1-1 against the others. Not sure what the second tiebreaker (after head-to-head) is, but I think it is either overall record (favors us and Michigan), or record within the division, which comes back to each team being 1-1 against each other and thus going to the third tie-breaker.
