Dantonio restructured his deal in 2011, taking a smaller raise than he had arguably earned and having his own contract backloaded with incentives, to leave money in the athletics budget to give the assistant staff substantial raises. A few months later Narduzzi's salary was bumped from $250K to $510K. Narduzzi has rejected several suitors over the past two years. It looks like they had a solid plan that has worked for who they are, and they'll most likely shift some of that money back to Dantonio (and the bonus which will be due within the next year) when Narduzzi leaves for a head coaching gig of his own after this season.

This was a smart move on his part. Didn't Tressel do that once for his assistants?

Wow .................... That is a real eye opener huh? But sooner or later the information behind the story will come out , but you just have to wonder what the infraction was. Should be interesting

Unless it was an NCAA violation. Teams have the ability to keep those under wraps. If he's not kicked out of school, and not officially kicked off the team (just suspended for one game - which happens to be his last) there may be no trail to have surface.

This happens every Bowl season, players are suspended for breaking team rules. A lot of its academic issues, players who are using up their eligibility and are not close to graduating give up on that fall semester. Bullough doesn't fit that criteria so Iam guessing whatever it is, Dantonio is punishing him and Dantonio is sending a strong message to the underclassmen.
