nicesparcboxbuck;1505942; said:My oldest boy almost brained Jim Heacock with a Nerf football one day in that room. It's not only open, it may be a little too open.
Needless to say, I was beside myself.
Jim took it all in stride and tossed the ball back to my kid and joked with us about it.
Don't be silly now. Nothing compares to BARWIS!!!!!11!! He once had Brandon Graham benching 400 lbs with nothing but a twig and a box of paperweights.ysubuck;1505425; said:I know this is Thad's thread, but Kurt Coleman is looking yoked in that video spotting Thad.
That facility is second to none. How could you NOT want to come and be a part of that?
Stick with Football: Defensive end Thad Gibson has a passion for football. He also has another passion; music.
Gibson fancies himself quite a singer and artist and actually has a little studio set up in his apartment where he can sing. He's not bad when it comes to music, but according to Doug Worthington, he's not really all that great either.
"Thad is very into it. He thinks his next career is going to be music. He really thinks he can sing," said Worthington, who then deadpanned "He has no chance."
"He might be able to write a song for somebody because he's talented as far as putting words together and melodies, but as far as singing, it's not going to happen."
The top 20 Ohio State football players for 2009: No. 3, Thaddeus Gibson

OSU
Thaddeus Gibson
3. Junior defensive end Thaddeus Gibson
Along with Justin Boren and senior linebacker Austin Spitler, Gibson is in the mix as one of the three strongest Buckeyes, and nobody looks better in a uniform than No. 90.
But when you get down to it, yes, the Euclid grad led the Buckeyes in sacks a year ago - but that was only with five, which didn't rank among the top 10 in the Big Ten. He can be dominant, and his increased knowledge of the defense should make him more than a passing-down quarterback chaser. Defensive coordinator Jim Heacock talked in the spring about Gibson's constant questions about what he can do to get better.
While the Buckeyes have a lot of options at defensive end, Gibson has the greatest ability to make the one play that can change a game. Even as Vernon Gholston turned into a top-10 NFL pick two seasons ago, he wasn't the most consistent defensive player on the field. But he was the most dangerous.
If Gibson can approach that, he'll change the Ohio State defense. In games against opponents like Penn State, one quarterback sack or hurry might be the difference between a win and a loss. Remember some of the plays Penn State's defensive ends made in wins over the Buckeyes in 2005 and 2008.
But Gibson needs to at least double that sack total if he's going to make a Gholston-type jump. Here's guessing he does it.

Gibson on his tattoo: "I got it before the season last year. I just felt it was something I had to do. Without Ohio State, I don't know where I would be. I've grown so much here as a person and the opportunity to play here is unbelievable. It's not going anywhere, and I think I'm maybe even going to add to it."
osucollegebuck;1532709; said:Did Thaddeus get robbed of a sack on Saturday? Beginning of the 2nd half the Navy QB faked to the FB (I believe), and Thaddeus hit Hobbs behind the LOS, shouldn't that be a sack although the QB was going to run it regardless?
