The Titans added defensive end Thaddeus Gibson, a fourth-round pick of the Steelers in 2010, to their practice squad on Wednesday. Gibson worked out for the Titans on Friday, as did former Vanderbilt defensive end Tim Fugger.
Gibson, an Ohio State product, played for the Bears in 2011, but he?s spent the past six weeks ?praying and working,? while waiting for another chance. He worked out for the Buccaneers and Colts but went unsigned.
?Being at home put a lot of things in perspective, how much of a privilege it is to play this game and be a part of an organization,? Gibson said. ?I plan on giving it everything I?ve got and hope to make the best of things here.?
The Titans placed guard Chris DeGeare on their practice squad/injured list to make room for Gibson.
