I will be very interested in seeing how Francona handles the outfield positions when Lonnie and Brantley are ready to go full tilt again. I just do not think that Jackson can keep hitting the way he has been so that might clarify the LF position for Brantley and may be he will go straight platoon with LC and BG in right field. May be they move Jackson to CF and save Zimmer for special situations/defense. However doing that sort of line up really minimizes what you can do pinchhitting wise late in the game. I also will be very interested in seeing what happens when Kipnis is ready to return and if they keep Diaz or Urshela on the 25 man roster. Quite a few decisions have to be made.

Also thought for sure that the consecutive shutout innings was going to end when they brought Macfastball into the game yesterday in the ninth inning. Very scary.

Rosters expand Friday so they have time to sort it out anyway.
