The Dodgers just placed Cody Bellinger and Alex Wood on the 10-day DL.
Might as well get guys rested and healthy for the playoffs.

The only problem with that is that the Dodgers can probably lose their remaining games and still retain home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Indians 40 man roster looks like a Little League team compared to the Dodgers plus we are fighting the Red Sox for home field advantage. Plus, after watching Cookie last night he might be headed for Saladbar territory.

The 6-7-8-9 hitters in the Indians' line-up tonight:
6. Guyer .223 (2 Ks)
7. Diaz .186 (2 Ks)
8. Gomes .216 (3 Ks)
9. Urshela .193
Giovanny Urshela may be the worst player in MLB, with a .193 BA, .456 OPS, plus his defense is selectively awful (witness his tin glove in the 8th inning that cost the Tribe a run).
Bryan "Bum" Shaw is in the Rich "Not" Yett / Bryan "Gas Can" Clark / Ernie "Macho" Camacho realm of pathetic-ness (pathetickness? patheticity? patheticion?). I said that after he blew the 2016 World Series the Indians couldn't afford to keep him around. Looks like I was right....
Joe Smith fits in perfectly with this bunch of choke artists. "Do you know who I am?" Yeah, you're Joe Smith and you suck!
Is Jay Bruce now the best position player on this team? If so....
