Like I've said many times this year, this team just cannot capitalize on anything positive. They continue to follow up heroics with limp-dicked efforts like today.
They've had one legitimate hot streak all year, and of course the Royals stayed right with them, so they couldn't create much of a cushion.

Lets not forget that they were held hitless over the last 3 innings by a scrub with an ERA just south of 8 and another with a 5+ ERA. Pathetic.

They're going nowhere in the playoffs. They'll probably at least get a wildcard, but they arent getting past their first round opponent.
The fact that they have not been able to mount more than a 3 game lead all year in this garbage division pretty much says it all.
