On a non-sarcastic note, the Indians have not lost a series since Aug 2 (lost to Boston on Jul 31 and Aug 1, with the third game of the three-game series on Aug 2 being postponed). Here are their series records starting Aug 2:

New York (2-2)
Colorado (1-1)
Tampa Bay (3-1)
Boston (1-0)
Minnesota (3-1)
Kansas City (2-1)
Boston (2-2) (22-game win streak starts with the win of the last game of this series)
Kansas City (3-0)
New York (3-0)
Detroit (4-0)
Chicago (4-0)
Baltimore (3-0)
Detroit (3-0)
Kansas City (3-1) (22-game win streak snapped with the loss of the second game of this series)
Los Angeles (3-0)
Seattle (2-1)
Minnesota (2-1)

Cleveland has won 10 straight series, and 14 of 15 series since splitting the two games with Colorado. They've also gone 40-7 since losing the first game of the Tampa Bay series on Aug 10. Should they sweep the 3-game Chicago series at home to end the regular season, they will have went 43-7 in the last 50 games of the regular season...that would have to be the best 50-game stretch in MLB history.

If this was Ken Griffey baseball for 360 i would've traded Goody, Shaw and our other garbage and got Chapman.

Since this isn't KG baseball I would've just had Carrasco finish the game. Why pitch him for 1 batter (who he struck out) in the 9th and the put in our garbage to ruin his shut out?

Side note I live in Minneapolis and the dude in the office next to me is a big Twins fan. Like strangely a big twins fan.

He needed one more out to have 200 innings for the season. Tito wanted him to have that accomplishment.
