what the hell, you did not make it to the airportLuckily I didn't have a hangover probably because Beerhead was so packed that we were only able to get 5 beers throughout the course of the game. I got home at 2 then was back downtown for work at 7 so it was a pretty rough day of work. Pretty sure half the office didn't show up today. Between Cedar Point yesterday and then a journey from where I parked, to the Q, to the Flats, and back I walked about 14 miles yesterday per my Fitbit. Totally worth it. Pretty sure I high fived half of Cleveland last night.
Jesse Owens, Jack Nicklaus, LeBron James...Who else?
Who's on the Ohio Sports Mount Rushmore?
I keep trying to put this into some perspective of how big a comeback this was. The Warriors did not lose consecutive games all regular season and through the first two rounds of the playoffs. Aside from a pair of 1-2 stretches in the regular season, they had no winning streak shorter than five games between losses. Keep in mind that after Game 2, GS had beaten the Cavs by an average score of 115-88 over the last three game they played, including the 34-point curb-stomping in Cleveland, and had won a close game before those three to be 4-0 in their previous four games against. After winning Game 4 in Cleveland, they were 5-1 against the Cavs this year.
To think that any team--led by anyone--could win four of five games against the team that had broken the Bulls' "unbeatable" regular season record and had dominated the season series is beyond my comprehension.
Dubs! What up? Just wanted to build upon one point you made. Not only did those wussies from The Bay go 15-9 in the playoffs, they went fucking 7-7 in the semis and finals against two of the most physical teams in the league. They crow about how they're going to be back again next season, but OKC and the Cavs gave the rest of the league the blueprint to beat the Warriors' asses...The result was the 73-9 Warriors losing 9 games in the playoffs going 15-9 while the Cavs went 16-5.
