Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

It is strange how Green can make it back to congratulate Lebron on winning but the little fucker said that there were too many people, or something like that, in the way to get back to give Lebron congrats.

I hope someone grabs him by the neck like a little chicken next season and just strangles the little fucker.

I'll give him some credit for staying out there, Klay Thompson was already in the locker room throwing a fit, screaming "it's not fair"

His defense was a well-known weakness when they brought him in. He was obviously going balls-out, to his credit, in that possession with so much on the line...so it would be unrealistic to expect that kind of effort all the time. It's not unlike Francisco Cabrera knocking a game-winning hit for Atlanta vs. the Pirates years ago. Or any number of other players who played well-above their abilities in crunch time situations. I know his defense sucks, and don't hold that against him...it's who he is. Personally, my biggest issue with him the whole time he's been in Cleveland has been the disappearing act he's pulled on offense (this series included) when that's what he was brought in for. He was called by many a "top-10" player in this league, because he had the ability to put up 25-12 a game. That's been a rarity, and too many times, he has been flat-out awful offensively. He's a 15-9 guy now...which wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't making so much money and struggling to shoot 40% most games. But, for that effort alone, I will get off his back. That effort was sensational...and it was during the biggest possession in franchise history.

I'd still trade him. Upgrade the bench and bring in a solid wing defender and we could be looking at a dynasty.

Despite the fact that I'd trade Love, I'll never forget how hard he competed in these playoffs, especially in the last three games of this series. He didn't complain when Lue brought him off the bench, he didn't bitch about taking fewer shots, and he altered his game to fit what the team needed. The Cavs are champions in large part because of Kevin Love's sacrifices over the last two seasons.

Love the Cavs, they're my team. But I haven't fully jumped on the LBJ bandwagon since his return. I just have been a little jilted and overly sensitive from his past.

I followed him throughout High School and was an LBJ apologist until the decision. Like a middle school girl I wanted him to fail in Miami and hated them winning. Even coming back here I feel like I have been apprehensive about LBJ. But man, these last 2 games have been unbelievable and his approach and fire have all but brought me back. If he completes it and drives a stake in GSW's heart and brings a trophy to Cleveland; I'll be a renewed LBJ apologist and will argue his legendary (positive one) on Monday.
Yeah that's right, I'm an LBJ apologist and may be willing to argue Kyrie > Steph. I don't care how irrational you say I am.
