So help me God, if the Browns draft jimmy clausen I will be done with them forever and start rooting for the lions.

Seriously...I am right next to you. I have been a Browns fan for over 20 years and if they honestly draft him...that is IT. I was pissed about their trading to get Brady and they showed how retarded of a decision that was. They've wasted nearly every first round pick they've had for over a decade now. It's gotta stop or I'm gonna go nuts.

This story makes my synapses sputter.

How stupid is he? Did he think the people monitoring the luggage check wouldn't notice the gun-shaped object in his bag?

Rogers reportedly said he forgot the gun was there. Forgot it? Right. Come to think of it, I'm always misplacing my weapons & forgetting about them, too. Yesterday I found my Smith & Wesson in the toaster oven. Silly me.

Idiot. :roll2:

I don't want to send this thread in a political direction with this comment, but I feel like I have to say it:

If you have the capacity to "forget" a gun, you shouldn't have access to one in the first place - especially if you have kids (I don't know if Rogers has kids or not).

I dont know if he has kids or not, but he certainly does look pregnant himself. :)

He was just doing his best Barry Switzer impersonation.

Browns acquired CB Sheldon Brown and LB Chris Gocong from the Eagles in exchange for LB Alex Hall, a fourth-round pick, and a fifth-round pick.
The 31-year-old Brown, still playing at a high level, went on the trading block with the Eagles unwilling to sign him to a long-term deal. He'll receive a new contract and move into the Browns starting lineup opposite Eric Wright, eliminating the need for a corner at No. 7 overall. Gocong, a better fit in the 3-4 defense, will likely start opposite Matt Roth on the outside. The Browns did well to fill two defensive holes for a pair of mid-round picks

wow...love this trade
