Cleveland Browns (2009 Season)

You have to understand the tough spot Mangenius is in...ordinarily, you go with the guy that gives you the best chance to win. The Browns, however, have absolutely no chance to win, so really, it is like 2 interchagable parts :slappy:

How many NFL franchises are fortunate enough to have completely interchangeable parts at QB?

Take a look at the passing yardage between these two. I am too lazy to look it up but it is fairly close and Anderson, most of his yardage against Cincinnati while BQ was playing against Minnesota and Denver.

Well, they both suck. The difference is that DA's compensation for sucking is at a fixed amont. Brady's compensation for sucking can go up if we allow to go out there and suck some more. I don't want to pay him more money to suck, even if it could be slightly less suck than what we are seeing out of DA's suck.

Besides, Peyton Manning couldn't make these receivers look good.

Oh I don't know, if he can make Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie look good, I imagine he could get 2 eager guys like Robo and Massaquoi to improve. The kids clearly aren't there yet, but I bet they will be someday. Manning would doubtlessly expedite that process by say, 12 decades or so compared to our 2-headed QB hydra doucherocket.

Anybody know who is officially the most inept offense in league history? Off the top of my head, the 1991 Colts who averaged 234.2 yards and 8.9 ppg sprang to mind. The Clowns currently average 240.1 yards and 10.3 ppg. The Raiders are right there too with 236.4 ypg and 8.9 ppg. Imagine that Cleveland-Oakland game later this season could make that Browns-Bills clash look epic by comparison.

The 1976 winless Bucs were 214.7...I think we can still get there.

This game will have more interceptions than points. I guess the bright side is that if Savage had his way Russell would have been our starting QB now.
Actually, when Jason Campbell was drafted Savage was trying to move up to get him. At least that was the rumor but you are correct he probably would have taken Russell.
