There comes a point where you have to take a stand. Besides, we're not Miami of Ohio, any year we go undefeated or just lose one game, I don't care how biased the pollsters are, they can't ignore us even if we ignore them.
Not sure anything would be different anyway. There's one pillar of objectivity on the media poll who has come right out and said he wouldn't vote OSU into the top 25 because of the way they handled the Clarett situation.
Ryan Hockensmith is a former Penn State student. That's interesting.
Anyway, I know it won't happen, but that doesn't stop me from wishing it would.
Somewhere at some time, someone is going to have to take a serious stand against what journalism has turned into.
That's true- and of course the other side of the argument is that ESPN is shooting itself in the foot by dragging Ohio State through the mud. I can't imagine that CBS has been helped by the Alabama "situation" and it can't do anything but hurt ABC's ratings by marginalizing Ohio State's position from both a fanbase perspective and also jeopaodizing their ability to compete nationally. I'm sure The Game is a nice ratings machine for them.
Anyway... with all that in mind, something needs to be done to remind ABC/ESPN that this is a two way street.
