Clarett spilling the beans

How the hell does he think this is going to make him a better candidate for the draft? "NFL GMs know college players take money." If this is such a known issue why haven't the GMs talked to the NCAA or vice-versa? Also, what kind of a welcome will the pros have for him if he ever makes it to a team?

if nfl gm's already know this, then why does he have to do an espn story telling everyone that he did take money in order to vindicate himself?

just another stupid comment from an idiot malcontent.

Time line doesnt add up at all....

Jim Tressel was named head coach of OSU on Jan 18th, 2001. Sammy Maldonado sat out the 2001 season AT MARYLAND. So how is is somehow a relaible source is beyond me.

Marco Cooper was kicked off the team April 29th of 2002 How he would know anything that would cooberate Claretts claims is pretty suspect IMO as well.

What the ESPN article failed in any attempt to do was provide some balance. They failed to point out that Clarett was nailed 17 times for violationg bylaw 10. IE Lying to NCAA investigators.

Clarett lied to Gieger, Tressel, the NCAA and the Police.... NOW I am suppsed to believe that He single handedly duped the NCAA when they looked into all these allegations? Yeah right.... you best be dumber than a fence post to buy into that theory.... which is exactly what the ESPN article is trying to sell you on.

Hes lying and we all know it, problem is, everyone outside of Ohio State thinks we are guitly.
ESPN has officially lost what little respect I had left for them.
I will never watch their channel, except for the occasional football game.
I will never read their website again.
They have no concept of responsible journalism.

Holy Buckeye! said:
Could somebody get an E-mail address over at ESPN so all the poster here can shoot all there thoughts to them?

P.S. Clarett got knocked out by a former O-State player at Kory Stinger memorial service for running his mouth. That is not a BS story. One punch!!!!
What a dickhead!

Not true. Maldonado announced his transfer on January 29, 2002 link. I agree that the ESPN sources lack integrity and have motive to lash out at OSU, but let's not get into the habit of refuting their reporting without hard evidence ourselves.
