The key is keeping the Nets from running and getting into the tempo they're comfortable in. I think the Cavs are doing a good job of getting back in transition. An even bigger key though is the offensive rebounding. Not only does it earn second chance points, but it also slows down the game for the Nets. Teams that run the floor rely on getting rebounds on the defensive end and quickly getting into their transition game from there. That's not happening if you're not getting the ball off of rebounds. Furthermore, it causes them to keep guys from releasing early to receive outlet passes because they need the extra help crashing the boards. Not only are the offensive rebounds good for the Cavs offense, but it's disrupting the NJ offense. Here's hoping they keep it up when they go to the Meadowlands.
