Hi I registered this new handle just so I could be a classless moron and harass the LSU fans who haven't done a damn thing wrong. I know one of the mods will ban this handle and if I register another one for such stupid shit, I will probably have my entire account banned.

Go Bucks!

Some of you boys are likely better off wandering over to the ESPN or free scout boards...

Edit: This was a Buckeye fan and poster here...we don't treat our visitors poorly just because they root for another team. If they flame or act like fools, we handle them accordingly...but this site is above the garbage that has been spewed around today by Buckeye fans.

:tongue2:They should ban you for posting those pics.:tongue2: The 1 handed catch on the winning TD drive was awesome.
seriously... my spartan dad was shocked at how passionately I rooted for UM, but I was all b10 today (& anti UF).

As a nice bonus, rooting Arrington on might help his stock if he goes pro (as he's considering).

My wife was giving me dirty looks as I rooted for scUM as well... At this time of year I root for all Big Ten teams...

My dad was doing what Michigan fans do when Hail To The Victors is playing just to piss me off... It was almost disgusting because he was wearing an Ohio State sweatshirt... I quickly reminded him of what he was wearing.

I think he's a senior, while Manningham's a Junior.

Source: MGoBlue: 2007 Michigan Football Roster

However, here, Football Roster, he is listed as a Junior.

Can anyone clarify for me? Thanks.
Arrington's a redshirt, he does have one more year of eligibility left as a fifth-year senior if he so chooses.

Manningham is in fact a junior, and never had a redshirt year.

The Best Part

Amazing how all this article was posted up on ESPN.

Classic victory
My favorite parts...
This win was for smashmouth, for 3-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust, for the "laser, rocket arm," and even for big uglies.
But what will stay with Michigan fans and college football experts was the way the Wolverines' ostensibly outdated offense bulldozed the Gators like a swamp boat in the Everglades.
What scUM was using wasn't exactly a 3-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust offense. It was a new offense, and pretty well executed as well, I may add.
Michigan broke through the Gators' line and pounded Tebow more than once, a painful but clear message from a Big Ten conference that most have completely dismissed in favor of the SEC. Surely even Buckeyes fans grinned a little as Midwest brawn pounded Southeast brains.
Now this is downright condescending... Wow. :mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2:

Before I forget: Did anyone happen to see the woman and the man holding the "Go Blue" sign right before they cut out to commercial after the game was over??? The woman was wearing a Michigan T-shirt and an Ohio State necklace....?!?!?!?

I found it rather disturbing!

Slight change of subject off the SEC stuff so I can rave a bit, now that I'm down from the high of the Michigan game and getting over my anger at the Gator Bowl happenings......

Normally I don't buy the idea that the results of a bowl game carry over into next season and the team uses it as a springboard. Coaches do a pretty good job of pounding it out of their system in spring practice and in fall practice by demanding they look to the task at hand and not dwell on the past. Certainly, Florida will have this behind them by tomorrow. They've got big things on the horizon. In Michigan's case I think things are different. This whole year was a mess. 2005 was a crummy season too, but for some reason it didn't feel as crummy as this one. Started really by getting blown out of the Rose Bowl on New Year's, then App State and Oregon put the whole program into a malaise. Winning felt more like escaping rather than beating teams because we were supposed to. Definitely finished the regular season on a down note, and to top it off we "earned" a matchup with the nation's hottest quarterback that looked absolutely terrible for us on paper. Everyone who thought Michigan would pull it off, raise your hand. OK, now put your hand down because you're a lying SOB. I didn't think they could do it and neither did anyone. We were all set to send off a terrific bunch of seniors with a big goose egg to show for their efforts in the eight games that they care most about, and we were going to send off our beloved and respected coach in the worst possible way. The big bad Heisman winner and his cohort of speedy receivers was going to Gator-chomp Michigan right off the national stage to irrelevancy, joining Alabama in a parade of Independence Bowls. That about sums up the state of mind of Wolverine Nation, right there. Next year, who knows what'll happen. None of the players know what their role is going to be. But that's a hell of a lot better than not knowing what their role is going to be, and riding a big fat losing streak to boot. This way, our players' shoulders are carrying their coach, as they should be, instead of drooping under the weight of losing. Lloyd Carr can take his place alongside Bo Schembechler and Fielding Yost and nobody will deny him that, because he left us with the sweet taste of victory one last time.

Sorry, I know it's a Buckeye board and what goes on in Ann Arbor doesn't much concern you except once every other year. But you know....Michigan fans took one look at the result this November, realized you guys have no seniors, took another look at the bowl game matchup, and pretty much wondered if 2009 was looking good yet. I figure you oughta know this too - next year looks much, much sunnier, and it's a rivalry again.
