You must be fair. your guy said that a #2 big Ten Team beat a top tier SEC team today. I said UF was not the cream of the crop. in fact UF would be #4 in the SEC this year. ( Then he threw a 5 yr stat. and it shows that LSU is the best SEC Team in the Last 5 years.) I know OSU lost to the SEC Champ last year.

I have done nothing but compliment the UM victory and praise your team. I have said nothing negative to OSU or the BIG TEN. I only took up for my LSU Tigers when one of your guys said UF was the top SEC team. when that is clearly not true.

Just look at the numbers your guy just posted. The bottom 3 in the west are better than than the bottom 3 in the east. I cant remember the last time LSU lost to vandy USC or Kentucky (mabe 98) . LSU is the best in the last 5 years. UF and Tenn are Tied. with UGA being the best and the Tigers are 2 and 2 in the last 4 meetings. The national media has you confused with their love for UF and Tenn. (Tigers own Tenn.) In fact in the 05 or 06 Phil Steel mag. he did a huge write up on this issue and concluded when it comes down to football WEST is BEST.

1 - 17-23 (Alabama) is not better than 17-23 (South Carolina.) Last I checked, 17 = 17 and 23 = 23.

2 - Five years ago, Ole Miss was 7-1. Since then they are a whopping 6-26. Going by just the last four years, the bottom three look like this:

South Carolina 15-17
Kentucky 10-22
Vanderbilt 7-25

Alabama 15-17
Miss State 8-24
Ole Miss 6-26

Doesn't look as good for the West any more, does it?

And anyway, going by the bottom teams is a load of crap to begin with. As I said: Three excellent teams in the East, two in the West. Really not any harder than that.

I think you are missing the point. Your claim that UF is not the Juggernaut of the past is simply incorrect. It sounds very much like you are making an excuse for an SEC team losing to the third place Big Ten team.

Is UF the fourth best team in the SEC? I don't know. There isn't anyone that can say for sure. But they are still one of the best teams in the SEC.

Congrats to Lllllloyd Carr and Michigan...it's good to see a Big Ten team rack up 41 points (should've been 55 if Hart didn't fumble twice on Florida's goall line) and 520 yards on that speedy SEC defense.

I did enjoy the fact that the B10 beat the SEC, but Mike Hart had such a "memorable" game. Fitting end to his career.

I think ESPN and a some fans in the North still consider UF a Top SEC Team. As for as SEC fans we do not. UF is a good team but not a juggarnaut of the past. UF does not strike fear in SEC teams like they used too. Im a Tiger fan and I feel LSU can beat UF every time they match up. So does Auburn, Georgia, Tenn.
It was still a good win for Mich. today. It was a fun game to watch. Geaux Tigers.

according to you guys UF is great. well.............2 of their 3 losses came from the west this year. Lowly LSU and pitiful Auburn.

I guess the best way that I can put it is I hate UF. In the Last 5 year results they would be tied for 3rd best with Tenn. LSU 1 UGA 2 Uf 3 (cause they won a NC last year) Tenn has same record as UF.
