Capital One Bowl: Michigan 41, Florida 35 (final)

Man, Tebow does not do well when he's forced into a passing only situation, he's going to have to work on that to keep from getting exposed next year. His throws were off, and when he couldn't run pressure got to him constantly. This is a great win for tsun, however, 4 turnovers should have cost them the game. It became obvious that when there wasn't a run/pass option for Tebow that he could get frustrated, and that's what Michigan did.

Fair points indeed, I thought the cough-ups would once again relegate us to mediocrity. I would, however (as is the case with basically everything in the post-season), be curious to see how both teams would have performed without the extended layover. More than anything I'm just (delightfully) surprised that we contained the Gator offense as well as we did.

As a nice bonus, rooting Arrington on might help his stock if he goes pro (as he's considering).

I think he's a senior, while Manningham's a Junior.

Source: MGoBlue: 2007 Michigan Football Roster

However, here, Football Roster, he is listed as a Junior.

Can anyone clarify for me? Thanks.

Hey, I made the same mistake a while back. Our website requires revision to say the least. Kudos to Sniper for setting me straight.

I also found myself rooting for TSUN, and I think the thing to take from this, whether people in the SEC consider them juggernauts or not, is that they were HEAVILY favored. I've heard the youth excuse, the they're not that good this year excuse, and several others. Ridiculous!!!!! They punched florida in the mouth, the way I hoped our beloved buckeyes would do last year. Remember, even in sloppy conditions, the UM DLine was healthy on Nov. 17th, and our O LIne DOMINATED THEM. I know, I know, LSU wasn't healthy when they played FLA(?), but to stretch a little and use the transitive property, I feel at the very least that we can do some damage offensively, putting this game squarely on the shoulders of Boeckman playing mistake free and the Defense. If we are aggressive, like UM was against the gators, then we will win this game!
