I celebrated my first concert with Kool and the Gang! Kool was a real douchebag but the Gang were the shit.

When I was really young, this was my FAVORITE song. I'd go apeshit when it came on the radio.

My first concert was the Thompson Twins. My mom and dad bought me the tickets for my 11 birthday. My sister (21 at the time) took me.

At the Newport? I was there. Not a bad show actually.

First Concert, Elton John with Kiki D and the Captain and Teneile as a warm up.

A better question would be what is the best concert you've seen?

Dayton Hara Arena July 3rd

Headliner was Megadeth

Opening act was White Zombie then Pantera, Skid Row (Slave To The Grind)

I'll never forget the concert, I head walked, stage dived, front row for the whole thing. A few feet from Dime. Skid Row just blew me away. My Friends was up in the seats and I was down front row (General Admission) and they told me after the concert, we seen you stage diving:biggrin:

Best concert I've seen:

Wilco in Charlottesville, VA. Great crowd, Jeff Tweedy is hilarious, and I think it was the last night of their tour so they were extra amped up.

Wilco is great. I would love to add them to my list of bands I've seen in concert. The best concert I've seen was My Morning Jacket at Bonnaroo this year. Went on at Midnight, didn't leave the stage until after 4 am. One Big Holiday with Kirk Hammett as a surprise guest was sublime. I had high expectations for their showing going in, and they completely blew me away.
They are probably the best live band out there right now.

Tool and ISIS, not even close for me. ISIS put on a powerful performance, and Tool is Tool.

It could've been A Perfect Circle and Year of the Rabbit at Vet's Memorial, but the sound is so fucking terrible in there for a rock concert that it nearly ruins it. Didn't help that people were smoking pot all around us, and I'm not a big fan of that. Neither are the ushers. So they were running around checking us every three minutes.
