Harbaugh is stupid. Ono is conniving. Ono knows that the last thing he wants is Harbaugh, Stalions and the coordinators sitting in deposition testifying under oath and threat of perjury. This is all the most transparent bluff imaginable. It's only real purpose is to get a stay in place, so that they can run out the clock and get their NC. After that, my hunch is that tsun would immediately drop the suit and just let normal (subpoena free) NCAA and B1G processes run their course.
Look into how Ono got promoted from Provost to President at Juggalo State. It's really sick shit. His predecessor hired him as Provost, and Ono immediately went about undermining and backstabbing him with the trustees and other power brokers. The previous guy became so stressed out about what was going on that he literally went full-Costanza at a board meeting and threw up his hands and quit on the spot. Or look into his actions when UC didn't get an AAU invite while other schools were invited. He went to the trustees, local politicians and other powers at UC and told them that the AAU was set to invite UC (how he would know this I don't know), but that Ohio State convinced the other B1G schools to blackball them. We laughed at him at UC and laugh at him now, but he is a sick, conniving pos human being.

He didn't need to misrepresent himself because the CMU staff knows who he is. Jim McElwain, Mike Zordich, and Jake Kostner were all on Jim Harbaugh's UM staff in 2018 when Stalions was there in a less-prominent role.

And you know that somebody like Stalions, with his manifesto and delusions of reimagining tsun footall in his image, was going to go out of his way to make himself and his grand plans and abilities known to the higher ups. The idea that he was some wallflower of whom nobody was aware is laughable.

The thought of that sniveling little shit being deposed makes me smile. Where did the money come from, where did you get those fancy sun glasses, who let you onto the CMU slide line, name every person who sat in the seats you bought at opponents games, remember, you are under oath.
