We could have had Baker Vs Bama. Bad D Vs non passing hurts. Saban vs Riley.
Instead we get a game that should have been the quarterfinal, but Saban was wise enough to lose it earlier.

Perfect storm for Bama really. They were pretty beat up after the Auburn game. Not having to play in the SEC CG gave them some much needed extra recovery time. Avoid having to play OU/UGA in the semis instead getting a Clemson team with a young QB whos clearly not near the same level offensively as they were last year.

Let's be real. The entire B1G 7-1 Bowl record doesn't mean shit to the mainstream media and the terrible SEC record was negated after the SEC went 2-0 in the playoff games.We can't win even if we win.

So, the Twilight Zone wasn't just on SyFy channel last night. 
Here with a big shout out Thanks-fer-nuthin' to you, Mr. Lincoln. I'd shoot you again myself, if I could. Why the hell didn't you just let them secede when they wanted to?
Also, a couple of giant damn-you's to Chokelohoma and Dumbo. This is what I get for lowering myself to rooting for either one of you. Hope it hurts. Heaven knows the rest of the country will be in pain for years to come because of this. (That deep grinding sound you may have heard last night wasn't a couple tectonic plates colliding--it was everyone north of the Mason-Dixon line groaning at the thought of an all-SEC "championship" game.)
My plea today, to anyone contemplating watching the "game" is to PLEASE use some back-door streaming service if you must watch. The only miniscule consolation left now is if this becomes the lowest rated game in history. Somebody has to pay for this atrocity. The sponsors are about the only ones left.

Man sure wish OSU could have played Mercer instead of a physical Iowa to recover a bit after that epic showdown with the #2 team in the country the week before. I know I know you should never give up 31 to Iowa but I still believe the team was just dead tired mentally and physically from going to war with Penn State the week before. The weeks after OSU mostly looked like a completely different team.
