2014 NFL (Well, Browns, so, sorta "NFL") Draft Thread

Personally I think it is a toss up between Gilbert and Dennard...then some gap between Fuller, Roby, and Verrett. Gilbert has a little more athletic ability and plays off the ball more, Dennard is a tough, man cover guy. I love that we got Dennard based on what he brings to our system but I think the talent levels are identical.

The Browns should go for a taller receiver who can catch 50/50 balls (A. Robinson) because they drafted a fearless quarterback who throws the ball up for grabs... a lot. If you draft Manziel, might as well put the weapons around him to be successful.

EDIT: And I say that as someone who absolutely did not want Manziel at all. But he's the future (for at least the next 2 years) so you've got to develop around him.

JCSL...just can't stop laughing.

Is it just me or is the only way JM is a lifelong Brown is if his career lasts 2 seasons? I know many here don't like Lebron for leaving Cleveland or for the way he did it. Maybe Lebron just wasn't smart enough to know the impact his TV announcement would have. Now JM on the other hand...I can just see this dude going out with his mouth blazing and two fingers up in a salute to Cleveland.

The Cleveland Browns have a bell that is rung every time a new season ticket is sold, and given the way things are going since the team selected Johnny Manziel with the 22nd pick in Thursday's first round of the NFL draft, the bell might need to be replaced before long.

Team president Alec Scheiner told ESPN.com on Friday that, in the time since Manziel was selected, the team sold more than 2,000 season tickets.

"We know right now that every one of our games is going to be sold out for next season," Scheiner said.

The story today is the Cowboys were going to take Shazier at 16 but the Steelers took him at 15. That really sucks for me. :pissed:

:slappy: #1wr is gone for the year.. We take oline. Mark it down we trade back into the 2nd going full retard and giving up a ton

Stunning. They draft a QB in the first round, his best WR is suspended, and they don't feel compelled to get him anywhere to throw the ball.
