How could they adequately replace the league's leading receiver with a second round pick? They are better served sticking to their plan than making a knee-jerk move.

I understand oline is a place of need but considering the Gordon situation.. WR made more senseLike the pick. Addressed a need. There are plenty of WRs.
True... perhaps it would be a knee jerk reaction but still.. either the browns know something about the Gordon situation or they think Stone hands & co is good enough....Nobody seems to remember the Browns' sorry record of drafting WRs in the second round. It's arguably just as bad as their record of drafting QBs.

If they're truly grooming Jonathan Foosball for an entire season, then Gordon being out could give him more time to do nothing but practice with his future qb
I've seen some reports saying that the organization knew about Gordon a couple weeks ago. I don't think they are being cavalier about it, I just think they have a plan and feel they can get a WR with their third rounder or by making a move to get back into the second.
re: Bitonio, it was encouraging seeing highlights of him winning battles against players that were drafted ahead of him.
