2014 NFL (Well, Browns, so, sorta "NFL") Draft Thread

Nobody seems to remember the Browns' sorry record of drafting WRs in the second round. It's arguably just as bad as their record of drafting QBs.
True... perhaps it would be a knee jerk reaction but still.. either the browns know something about the Gordon situation or they think Stone hands & co is good enough....

I've seen some reports saying that the organization knew about Gordon a couple weeks ago. I don't think they are being cavalier about it, I just think they have a plan and feel they can get a WR with their third rounder or by making a move to get back into the second.

re: Bitonio, it was encouraging seeing highlights of him winning battles against players that were drafted ahead of him.

It still boggles my mind a bit when I see people write that the Browns needed to take a WR there....you don't force positions into draft spots. This is the deepest WR draft in some time, they clearly have players they feel will fall to them there. Top lineman though, that's more difficult.

Lee, Latimer, Matthews, Robinson, Moncrief, Adams, Abberderis, Ellington, Bryant, Landry, Richardson, Herron..........we have a 3rd and 2 4th's, I feel confident we can pick up two if they feel it's needed.

Fair enough, I see that point if they did know about it before the draft, and it makes sense once I decide to quit sniffing glue...
