Gotta throw this out there...I love the approach to '11 so far. We are getting the offers out there and especially to positions of need (interior line and DB namely). No worries about filling up a talented class this year. :osu:

Yeah I totally agree, I love that we're going after a number of OL recruits! I think we should sign at least 4 to make up for only signing one in the 2010 class. I'd like to see more on the quality side(4 and 5 star kids), but getting some projects and developing them would be good too.

Almost every OL recruit is a project.

Yes I know that, but guys who are 2-3 stars are more seen as projects than 4-5 stars that was my point. Not saying EVERY 2-3star won't be good or that EVERY 4-5star is a lock. I guess like everyone else I would just like to see more depth on our Oline. And with the amount of offers we have out to the 2011 guys it seems like its a major priority to the staff as well

Q&A with recruiting analyst Tom Lemming

What can the NCAA do to improve the recruiting process?
Reel in the coaches. Once a player commits, don?t allow the colleges to keep calling them. Establish an early signing period. You can?t have rules for kids, but you can have rules for the adults.

Tom, I have a better suggestion.

Make it illegal for predators like yourself to exploit these kids for your financial gain.
You shouldn't be involved in the process at any level. Telling kids to wait to decide is only done for your gain. You admitted to ranking ND artificially high because "it's good for business".
You do more harm than good.
And I would ban the mortifying Hat Dance and that horrible All-Star game you created.
I would also suggest an end to your signing day shennanigans TV extravaganza.
Instead of Flying the Hendersons out to NY, would it not be more prudent for Shentrelle to be in school.

You are a turtleneck wearing postman not a talent evaluator not do you provide any service to the kids.

You can also argue that because of the booming business in the coverage of recruiting, more kids are able to get their names and films out at less cost than before. I'm not a fan of Lemon, but I don't see how ranking ND higher hurts anybody.

Other than it's disingenuous and fraudulent representation of your product? Maybe we should represent Kias as Cadillacs because we know that rich people are more interested in Caddies.

I also think that the internet / youtube have a lot more to do with the ease of kids getting their names and films out . There's no industry set up for 'two girls and a cup' but it didn't inhibit them or 8 million other wonders of youtube.
