A pair of area running backs also picked up All-Ohio honors Tuesday. Clear Fork's Jordan McCune and Highland's Justin Staton were third team picks on the Division IV team.
Despite missing almost two full games with a broken leg, McCune led the Ohio Cardinal Conference for a second straight season. The junior piled up 1,205 yards and scored 19 rushing TDs.
"Being on the All-Ohio team was a personal goal, but it's not possible without team success," said McCune, who helped the Colts reach the Division IV playoffs. "I wish I would have been healthy the last couple of games, but things happen."
Clear Fork coach Dave Caroll said major college recruiters have begun to show interest in McCune.
"Ohio State called and requested tape on him," Carroll said. "I think he's one of the top backs in Ohio regardless of division."
