2010 TSUN News (in-season)

Ugh, I can't wait for conference play to start so the shine can get knocked off of Denard Robinson. It's getting really old listening to UM fans argue whether he's Jesus Christ or Jesus Christ, but a little faster. I honestly cannot believe that this fan base - who saw virtually the same goddamn thing last year - is falling for this BS again. They have exactly one player on offense who can do anything: Denard Robinson. As soon as they play a competent defense, they're in deep shit. Even if he goes 100/100, they're going to have 225 yards of offense and 10 points that day. There's no balance whatsoever on that team, and they're set up for a hard fall.

For a school that's supposed to have intelligent fans, these are some incredibly stupid people. I guess that's what happens when you live in the echo chamber.

Those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it.

Everything about them is night and day. Denard seems like he sincerely appreciates the chance he's been given and actually enjoys himself. Tater is a cocky, arrogant, spoiled-rotten, entitled little prick who feels everything is owed to him. Denard could play on my team, Tater can go pound salt.

Denard has my utmost respect. I wish him nothing but the best. Kind of guy that you do want on your team. And I think that he can continue to perform at a truly amazing level personally, and meatchicken still lose.

No offense but people were saying the same shit about Tater this time last year. He's a gamer, he can play on my team anytime etc etc etc. He didn't make it half the year fully healthy and neither will shoeless.

Let me interrupt the love fest here and say fuck Robinson and anyone who looks like him. Fuck the rest of the team, fuck the state, fuck the school, fuck the alumni and fuck their fans twice.

I dunno, I actually think DR sounds like a decent guy. His interviews are downright Tresselesque in their modesty. He sounds like the kind of person that I'd like to have on this team (his mind-boggling numbers notwithstanding).

The problem I have is with their dimwit fans who are taking 2 games waaaaay out of context. I mean, I actually WANT Michigan to be good (so that beating them means something). However, right now they seem to think that they're all that and a bag of chips. I mean, how else can you explain threads stating "the next two weeks will tell us a lot about the defense and the offense outside of DR"? Yeah, I'm sure you'll learn a lot from Bowling Green and UMASS. If those other guys couldn't show up against middling BCS teams like ND and UCONN, showing up against tomato cans like BGSU and UMASS will be really meaningful!

Ugh. This kind of [censored] just gets my goat (even more so when tOSU fans do it). I know that we're all fans, but people amaze me with their inability to be semi-rational about football.

DRob = Pat White

As he goes, so goes the team...

Because their defense is suspect they should still lose 3-4 games with a healthy DRob.

:osu:

Drob = Pat White + Steve Slayton

If either White or Slayton was down WV could not function. Drob is getting it done by himself. I fully support the rest of your argument and conclusion.

Chill out on the new guy Wolverine. That picture's new to him. Everybody is allowed to react when they see that. How can you not?

My bad on the lateness...it's just...it's...um...

I was like, um...

When I saw THAT picture...

And yeah, I'm in agreement with the other on DRob...
He's fast as a cheetah, with cuts to match.
Unfortunately, having him playing against Big 10 foes week in and week out, is like bring a nice, new, REALLY FAST Ferrari to a demolition derby...

You may get a couple licks in, but in the end, you KNOW it ain't gonna hold up to the end...

I once had a buckeye fan fuck me three times in a couple of days. That was it though, not relationship material for either of us. If we were relationship, I'm sure she would eventually be buried under a rose garden some where.

Despite her questionable taste, we're glad that you never promised her a rose garden.

Funny stuff from the M-Zone....

Defensive End Anthony LaLota has decided to transfer from Michigan. LaLota, a redshirt freshman from Princeton, N.J., becomes the 683rd player to leave the Wolverine football team since coach Rich Rodriquez became head coach before the 2008 season.

What started as a trickle when Rameses Rodriguez took over -- and players such as QB Ryan Mallet, RB Sam McGuffie and OL Justin HisNameShallNeverBeMentionedAgain left -- has turned into a flood as more and more players have bolted Ann Arbor.
And the exodus now seems to be spreading beyond the football team. After LaLota announced his departure, football secretary Liz Freeman, assistant trainer Butch Yunger and Dusty Johnson, the night janitor who cleans Schembechler Hall, also said they were all leaving, effectively immediately.

Even students are now starting to feel the itch to ditch A2. Dan Leibikowski, a junior Poli Sci major living in East Quad, announced his impending transfer after attending a Ron Paul rally in the Diag on Monday. Leibikowski joins three other students on his floor who decided to exit the university in just the last week.

"I don't even go to the games," said Leibikowski as he packed his water bong, his hacky sack and took the Grateful Dead poster off his soon-to-be-former dorm room wall. "But since Rich Ramirez took over as the coach, it's not the same around here anymore."

When reached by the MZone staff and asked to comment on the alarming number of defections from his team and the school at large, Coach Rodriguez didn't seem concerned. "Look, I want guys here who want to be here. Period. So anybody who wants to leave is welcome to do so...unless his name starts with a 'D' and ends in 'ard'."
