Cincy's strength of schedule is 109th, and the the worst team in D1 just gave them a game for three quarters. And they leapfrog us? Fuck that.

I hope all you who said that Cincy's rise was, "good for Ohio football" are having at least some second thoughts.

Oh well, I take comfort in knowing how fleeting this is going to be for them. Kelly has numerous outs in his contract for facility issues. Cincy is broke and massively in debt from their recent building spree. Add it up, and Kelley is gone. Highly doubtful that Cincy catches lightening in a bottle twice in a row with HC hires.

What Cincy proved against Miami Ohio for more than three quarters is that it is very beatable. Sagarin has their schedule strength at #109. South Florida and Pittsburgh are likely to show us another side of Cincy.

Why is Ohio State ranked lower? The rankings are a statement about the weakness of the Big Ten and a desire to not see Ohio State in the NC game. Sagarin has the Big Ten at #6, Marsee at #5.

Sagarin has Ohio State #8, Cincy #11. In his Predictor, Ohio State is #4, Cincy #13. Ohio State would be a five point favorite on a neutral field. USC is back to #1 in both ratings. In his ELO rating, used in the BCS, Ohio State is #15 and Cincy #5.
