Iowa Beats Penn State.
Penn State still has a better ranking.

Oregon DEMOLISHES Cal.
Cal still has a better ranking.

I think I get it now.

On a side note, I still don't understand why Oklahoma is ranked ahead of Ohio State.

It doesnt make sense. Especially since they refuse to rank OSU higher than USC. Bunch of idiots. These people should not be allowed to make these decisions.

Mississippi, Cal, and Miami not only fell but plummeted. Penn State fell more than I thought they would, but they should not be ranked ahead of Iowa who just beat their asses and are undefeated. By the way, that's the coaches poll, not the AP poll.

Guys, remember to look at the points...anyone have a breakdown for how the points are figured?

tOSU is 22 points behind Chokelahoma, and 41 behind FUSC.

FLA plays LSU Saturday, ALA plays LSU later this season...so, at LEAST one of those teams will have a loss, possibly two. Then the SEC Championship game...Mack Brown is due for his stupid loss of the year, the only team with a clear path to an unbeaten season is goddamn Boise St.

I'll google about the points thing, but if anyone already knows, feel free to post it...

EDIT: LSU and FLA play NEXT saturday...

19. Ohio State </B>3-1
Last Week: W, Illinois 30-0
This Week: at Indiana
Why the ranking is too high: It's not. The Buckeyes are still this low only because of the home loss to USC, and we don't want to put the Trojans much higher at the moment. The offense still isn't exploding; the ground game should be a lot better.
Why the ranking is too low: 68-0. That's the total score of the last two OSU games against Toledo and Illinois. The Rockets and Illini have real, live offenses that have been shut down cold. The Buckeyes are one late stop against USC from being ranked No. 4

Refreshing to hear!

CFN has an interesting take on what it takes to be ranked...
