True, but we also have a problem of being out of sight/out of mind. We don't play anymore. Every team that matters above us will play two more games.

Should help us that our loss will finish in the top 20 while LSU's loss dropped out.

Are we the only top 5 team with a loss to a ranked team now? Nevermind, Mizzou lost to OK

Wouldn't Zook and the Illini benefit the most if we went to the NC game? If I were him I'd vote OSU #1 as often as I could so that I might get a shot at the Rose Bowl.

Heck, why not every Big 10 coach give us a first place vote? An extra bowl berth for Big 10 teams would be great for our league.
