2007 Preseason and Regular season Polls

I believe ILL has to get into the top-14 to make the BCS.This is a weak year for the conference. Bumping everyone up a spot may only exacerbate that issue.

I think Ill would stand a chance in the Rose. They could certainly beat Oregon if they make it. We cant help what everybody else does.

By the time, the Pac 10 conference schedule is over, Oregon will have more losses. DD was everything to the team.

It's between ASU and USC now, IMO.

Harris is out:

1 LSU (100) 10-1 2,804
2 Kansas (13) 11-0 2,700
3 Missouri 10-1 2,505
3 West Virginia 9-1 2,505
5 Ohio State 11-1 2,401
6 Arizona State 9-1 2,129
7 Georgia 9-2 2,076
8 Virginia Tech 9-2 1,863

Complete Poll

OSU was 178 behind WVU last week. So, again the gap narrows. Computer polls could make a difference. BCS should be very close.

We'll see...as far as Sagrin computer rankings, we took a hit when compared to West Virgina last week. They are now 3rd and we are 6th. But that is just one component, I don't know about the rest.

Yep. Sad to say but Oregon is likely headed to the Holiday or Sun Bowl now.

Oregon is still a pretty good team without Dixon. I have to think that Leaf will perform much better after a couple of weeks of taking all the "reps" in practice with their #1 unit and actually preparing to be the starting QB. I wouldn't count the Ducks out of it yet. They have already beaten USC and ASU, so if they win out (UCLA & the other OSU) they are in the Rose Bowl.

Oregon needs ASU to lose once more.

how in the hell is West Virginia ranked 3rd in the BCS? Aside from my opinion that we have beaten a better team than they have, and our loss was to a better team than theirs.....they jumped Missouri?! How?!

completely agree. I hate hate hate the "this team has proven more" argument.....but if that's what you're going to go with all season (and the AP and Harris voters have), how the fuck can you say that WVU has earned the right to be #3 this late in the year?

BCS

1. LSU
2. Kansas
3. West Virginia
4. Missouri
5. Ohio State
6. Arizona State

In fact, Ohio State (No. 5 in the standings) is the only team that still harbors legitimate national championship hopes without a losable game left on the schedule. And that's only because the Buckeyes' regular season was completed Saturday with a 14-3 win at Michigan.

FOX Sports on MSN - COLLEGE FOOTBALL - Kansas moves up to No. 2 in latest standings
