#'s 6,7,8, and 9 all played crappy.....Very few top ten "locks" this year.
I wouldn't exactly claim that #10 played lights out either... Ironically, I think we played better last week, and got punished for it, while we went up in both polls after playing poorly this week. Go figure.

Not saying we dont have our own problems but the ville is in trouble with that defense. Its very similar to scUM's d... They will lose a couple. USF WVU and possibly UK come to mind. When you give up that many to Middle Tennesse st somthings not right.

Appy State received AP votes? I don't get it. Not that they don't deserve it, but I thought it was a Div IA poll.

So, just for arguments sake, if Appy State wins out and moves up high in the AP poll, are they eligible for BCS bowl games??? I guess it would be tough with their lack of Div IA wins, but is the bowl eligibility limited to Div IA?

I think I saw over the weeekend where the NCAA had approved the voting for that whole division

No they are not eligible for any bowls as they are not in the FBS. Being 1-aa they are simply ineligible for bowls. Additionally I didn't think the AP poll counted in the BCS anymore (I think the Harris replaced it). Once Michigan ends up around 5-7 and misses a bowl the App State hoopla will die off.
