I usually agree with your opinions regarding basketball but not so much with your opinion regarding Charles Barkley.

He does not like Ohio State for some reason and I have no idea why. Saying that, just because he gives his own opinion does not make it right. As has been stated, there were questionable calls all during the game and to harp on one call with about 60 seconds left in the game is ridiculous.

Also, I really don't know if he is honest or not. I think sometimes he just says things to give an opposing opinion.

Ya, I mean I have no idea why he hates the Big 10 and seems to pull against them at every moment. I just know it isn't contrived because that isn't the way he rolls. To me it isn't about whether he is right or wrong, it's his opinion and I don't believe as viewer, the words coming out of his mouth are just to get my blood boiling like a Skip Bayless or Stephen A.

Chuck has had fantastic opinions on LeBron going to Miami, flopping in the NBA, officiating in the NBA and college level....I mean the list goes on and on. And most of the time I think he is spot on. And again, they got the call wrong on Craft, it should have been a block. It's just looking at the situation as a whole, that one call doesn't mean ISU was jobbed. Ohio State faced an uphill battle all day from that crew....IMO, karma came out in the end. Greg Anthony understands that, Chuck just likes pointing out how bad college officiating is. And college officiating is just brutal....I think we can all agree on that.

Even if it was the wrong call, show that play in real speed only once to a bunch of people who have not seen it, and I bet a large percentage if not most call it a charge. It simply was not a bad call. Possibly incorrect, but not bad.

Missed the entire 2nd half with having to get ready & drive to work. Thankfully I was finally able to find it on AM radio with about 2 minutes left......I about wrecked my truck when Craft hit that shot . Just win baby

Personally, I think even that is debateable. Even if his feet were squarely outside the semi-circle, it's still a block to me. The offensive player had left his feet, and actually came really close to having the ball out of his hand when contact was made.

Maybe its just the Jay Bilas in me, but that should be a block, IMO. The player wasn't out of control, left his feet to convert the lay-up, and Craft slid into position from the weak-side and undercut him. I don't think Aaron was there in time, and I don't think Aaron even attempts that play in the first half. It was a desperation attempt at picking up the charge, and college officials suck at calling that play correctly. Officials truly throw a dart at a board when making charging calls.

BTW, one of the charges DeShaun picked up, was a clear block as well. Didn't stand in and take the charge at all, and was actually rolling his shoulder out of the way when he took it. Not squared up at all, and again the offensive player wasn't out of control. Just a bad interpratation on the play.

I think it was Sam who had a charge called against him today where he elevated for a jump shot and an ISU defender slid underneath him and gave him nowhere to land. He comes down and is called for a charge. Just complete garbage...

It's the most missed call in the game and really goes against the offesnive player way too much. It really sucks that they went to more of an NBA model as well, where players are rarely set, and just flop all over the place because there is very little downside to getting caught. Officials just check o see where the defenders feet are, and then make a call from there irregardless of whether the defensive player was in good position. It's straight trash....

Who cares if it was block/charge. If it was called a block there is no guarantee Iowa St would have won. It would have been a 3 point game with a free throw. How many bad calls went against us?

Geez I'm tired of this. All I'm going to hear is refs won for Ohio State. Ohio State has the easiest bracket. [censored] the haters. Just win

Craft's feet were set in position before he was in the air.

Sorry for the quality, best video I could find. Craft straightens up some, but his feet stay in the same spot and therefore has position on the guy before he was in the air. It was really close.

Regarding your second paragraph is one of the reasons why I like Dan Dakich doing color commentary. He is not afraid to say what he feels about officials or anyone else.

I believe the official was looking at Craft's left foot which was well outside the arc and concluded the right foot must also be in also. From his angle when the play was called it was a close call but not when you look at his left foot which was a good six inches outside the arc....

Bang, bang play and the official has to decide within a nano-second if Craft's feet were set before the ISU left his feet and whether he was in or out of the arc. Sometimes I think we ask to much of officials especially in a play like this.....
