What was ridiculous is after Deshaun missed a three from right in front of the Iowa St. Bench, their whole team was in his ear. I'm sure that was the acceptable taunting tho.

I think Scott's T was probably deserved, but that doesn't excuse the yelling and screeching ISU was doing every time a foul was called on them in the 2nd half.

It wasnt what Scott said to him he kind of threw the ball at him after he scored. I was saying something when he did it hoping he didnt get the T but he did. No need for that, it's a momentum killer.

There were a bunch of little things that happened in that game that kept ISU in it that make the "charge" call irrelevant. All things add up to a finish not just one play. This isnt like a turnover in football. There's plenty of time to make up for one in basketball.

Same here. I knew right away it was a 'T' on him for bouncing the ball at the ISU player, even though the announcers didn't realize there was a technical foul, and the arena first announced it as being on Iowa State's #3. It was just a matter of seeing the ref make the call, which was a legit one.

If the whistle for a potential 3-point play hadn't been blown, one could imagine that he was giving the ball to an ISU player who would be in position to make a subsequent in-bounds pass. But with the free throw looming, it was clearly unnecessary to send the ball toward an opponent.

On the over-discussed Craft block/charge call with about 100 seconds left, his right foot probably would have been outside the arc if it hadn't bumped into Deshaun Thomas's foot on the way down. But the call became a huge topic for discussion simply because Barkley decided to act like a 12-year old Iowa State fan since the continued success of B1G teams makes him look bad. I generally like Charles, and don't think he's a scripted idiot like many folks at ESPN, but he follows the NBA much more closely all season; and it's difficult to become an educated expert on 68 teams in a week or two at the start of the NCAA tournament.

I am not trying to be nitpicky but I thought that Scott might have gotten away without a technical but I am pretty sure that he also said something to the Iowa State player after flipping the ball at him. I can't say for sure if him opening his mouth got him the technical or if the ball tossing was enough. However, he has learned his lesson and hopefully he will remember it the rest of his Ohio State career.

Regarding Barkley, I agree with you with regard to the fact that I do not think that these he follows college basketball that closely during the season and really doesn't know the college players that well. I think Greg Anthony is much more knowledgeable when it comes to the players than Charles. All of this is a little disturbing when I read an article last week that they might switch the Final Four to TNT next year instead of waiting until 2015 or 2016.
