Need a video that starts with the shoulder bump, then Craft hitting the shot, and finishing with Rick James saying "that was cold bloooooddddeeeeeddd."

I might be able to do it if I had a video of the game, but it's been a while since I did some video editing (I am not even sure if I have the programs still installed).

I actually like Barkely a lot...I don't agree with opinion but at least I know it's how he actually feels vs. some external agenda like ESPN has to drum up emotion.

It was a bad call. And the last rebound was 50/50 on who it went out on. So he isn't technically wrong. I just agree more with Greg Anthony who I think understands the entire game was influenced with bad calls and that's what made it close to begin with.

I really appreciate Barkely's take on the high-elbow rule, and some of these flagrant fouls that get called. I'm not sure why college basketball felt they had a problem with elbows or intentional fouls, but some of these technicals being handed out are flat out embarrassing. I appreciate his honesty.
I usually agree with your opinions regarding basketball but not so much with your opinion regarding Charles Barkley.

He does not like Ohio State for some reason and I have no idea why. Saying that, just because he gives his own opinion does not make it right. As has been stated, there were questionable calls all during the game and to harp on one call with about 60 seconds left in the game is ridiculous.

Also, I really don't know if he is honest or not. I think sometimes he just says things to give an opposing opinion.

The entire game is officiated in a manner that favors the finesse shooting team, which also gets a bunch of questionable calls throughout the game to keep things close, and a media chump claims that OSU only won because of a close, but correct, call at the end. Well, the last time this sort of thing happened, Brent Musberger ended up telling Woody Hayes that he could "rest easy." Here's to history repeating itself, and the haters sucking on their thumbs . . . after they pull them out of their rears.

Also, what part of outside the little semicircle do these [censored]horns not comprehend?

I was kind of down on this team for much of the year, but in a year when nobody's great, I'm starting to get that same calm feeling of inevitability that I got in 2002 post-Holy Buckeye.

Finally, it saddens me that Clark, after many years as a good announcer, is now following the Herbstreit model of going past objectivity to give the other team the benefit of favorable interpretation on nearly every close play.

Agree with pretty much everything here. Clark has been making some head-scratchingly stupid statements lately. His commentary on Crafts lay-up that circled out probably took the cake however. He kept saying if you just lay it up over the rim there is no need for spin.....unfortunatley, not everyone is a 6'7'' forward with decent hops that can just lay it up over the rim at a moments notice. Aaron flipped it up to even get the ball over the rim. So just breathetakingly stupid, IMO.

I certainly agree with the officiating angle. I think the one thing that hurt us the most, is Shannon Scott, Lenzelle Smith, and Aaron Craft all picked up cheap fouls on guys who were being back-picked for. Where our guys are used to being able to body up offensive players to negate the screen, we got called for it all day. Once you stop rubbing the offensive player coming off those screens, you're really at the whim of the shooter and whether he knocks down the shot or not. This officiating crew was really the most favorable match-up Iowa State could have asked for.

It's also why I have serious concerns about Pitt and Syracuse in ACC basketball. Pitt will need to rotate 15 guys in ACC play because they won't have any guys who can stay out of foul trouble.

Karl Hess has always been neck and neck with Teddy Valentine as one of the worst. I've actually had a few words with him before at an FSU game.
