Login to view embedded media scUM fans were going to jump for joy regardless of who was hired. But Kyle really isn't much different than Kirk. He will win the games he's supposed, and have an occasional upset. But still have a 9-10win season ceiling. And he's not coming with the QB whisperer mystic like Hairball.

Great Dline but suspect 2nd and 3rd level play.

Generally, this is where I would open things up by letting my QB sling the rock early and often. Offense is 'ball out' you neutralize the Dline with both pass pro and getting rid of rock quickly. Don't let the opponents pass rush get going.

Similar to 05 vs NoD, 06 vs scUM, 09 vs Oregon, 2014 vs Sparty, 18' vs scUM... you get the idea.

Put the offense on Sayin and the pass pro.

Whittingham and his assistants he's bringing all being pretty much exclusively west region guys makes for a potential interesting conflict. There are very different attitudes at play here from what they are used to at scUM. Though the play style on the field is similar it's a pretty big move away from the "Michigan man" Harbaugh type.

I was begging for them to get an offensive coach. Because they aren’t suited for that first of all player wise and there was going to be a transition that likely screwed them over.

Anyways this was what they should’ve done. His style and personality fits them that’s for sure. Issue for them now is he’s not used to this kind of world and he’s 66 years old trying to learn on the job.
