2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

I'm sure the NCAA wants this out a soon as possible but it has to go through the billable hours process As we are in new territory due to unprecedented scope and scale of cheating that means beaucoup bonus billable hours.

I'd rather the NCAA do their due diligence and make sure they have everything watertight before rolling out sanctions that will later be repealed a la PedSU and the aftermath of the Sandusky situation. Whatever punishment tcun gets, I want it to stick.

2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

No idea how the detailed process actually works. But I would think the NCAA would want this out there now both in fairness to players and to increase the distance from the start of the season. Who wants to listen to this during every pregame and halftime broadcast?

On the other hand - I don't want anything overturned down the road. So bring on the lawyers and check every comma.
Can we at least accelerate to “glacial”?
You thinking about ludicrous speed?

LB Alex “Sonny” Styles, Block 'O' (National Champion)

A guy under 6’5” who can hit his elbow on the rim on a basketball court

A guy over 6’4” who can squat the equivalent of two Left Tackles.

They’re the same person

Dude is like one of those sports car hybrids with ridiculous low end torque (electric motor) and ludicrous top end torque (ICE)

The 40 inch vertical at that weight though is the kind of high rpm torque you see in an ICE-only V12 (think the Ferrari F140HC); while the almost power-lifter level squat is the low end torque of a Model S Plaid.

Edit: We could quibble over what “almost power-lifter level” means, but consider that Styles is about half a foot taller than the typical 110 kg power-lifter, which is a huge disadvantage. It is rare to see a lifter in that weight class over 6’1”, and those guys are often deadlift specialists
