I agree. Go to 16 teams, get rid of conference championships (if we were co champions this year then so be it), first two rounds on campus, and my recommendation is re-seed every round so the top seeds play the lowest remaining seeds.

Or shoot let the top seeds pick who they’ll play (this would be hilarious).

I’d think you can’t risk having growing pains to find out with the schedule we have next year.

Get rid of CC games, replace that week with the round of 16.

Round of 8 next week, semis the week after that, natty on Dec 31/Jan 1. The semis would always be around Dec 15-21, plenty of time for rest before the title. No layoffs, and it gets rolling asap.

They also played a 10 seed that possibly shouldn't even have gotten into the playoffs.

Also 2 of the 4 games were stinkers.

Indy smoked Bama it was enjoyable only in the fact that listening to Herby mock how bad Bama was getting murdered was enjoyable. Who even watched the Ore vs TT game? Too early and boring game.

OSU game was very good. And the Ole Miss game was a barn burner. I will say I was disappointed massively by OSU (I know all here agree) as OSU never rose to the moment. I was expecting a finish similar to Georgia vs Ole Miss where both teams threw haymakers.

I am 100% pulling for a Indy vs Ole Miss Final. I can’t get enough of the Indy Team of Autistic humans starting with the HC. And the Chambliss kid from a small town in MI who played at Ferris is just too good of a story. Who ever wins that game would legend.

No need to tie the bowls into it and no reason for a 2 week break to tie them in. You can also get rid of the conference championship games for that matter. NFL style format right up to the championship being played at a neutral site.

I prefer to keep it 12 teams but first 2 rounds are home games for higher seeds. Additionally, the quarters should be played before Christmas. Way too long of a break.

What advantage did OSU get by being a top 4 seed? They played an away game at a half empty stadium. Again the whole set up is about money and not the actual game of football.
The teams with byes should have a home game and it should be mid December. Then all 4 teams have a 2 week layoff until the New Year Days bowls. Then the Final Game around Jan 8-10

Next year should be 16 and get rid of the byes. Indiana just has an underdog mindset that keeps them focused. Only top-4 seed to make it out of 8 so far.

I'd love to see Koi in this DB room. But do you play Delane alongside him or McClain, and risk losing one of them?

I think this year's recruiting and portal haul/departures on D will be Patricia's chance to make over the defensive roster as he wants it. As someone who loves the roster management aspect of sports this is exciting.

Seems like almost every season the Oline is an issue. Run blocking always seems to be a problem. This year pass protection was an issue against good defensive teams. Is it scheme? Is it the coaching? Is it the Jimmys and Joes? Or just some combination of these?

I find it odd that the Buckeyes can’t field a solid Oline year in and year out. Hopefully, it will move in a positive direction for 26.

I hope so, I really do. But his former coach just beat OSU, and is at a school that has no problem with overpaying for players if they really want them. OSU hasn't shown that yet, maybe this loss will bring that out. But Perich has more of a direct connection to Miami than OSU at the moment
