Sports 'journalists' (Who Don't Work For ESPN)

Yeah both Danielson and Nessler are done. I also believe that Collinsworth is retiring.

Now if we can just get the Thursday night twats and Romo out…..
Sad thing is Romo was good for about a hot minute when he started...then he heard he was good, and immediately began believing he was the star of the show, not the football. It went Lusitania quickly after that. As self-aggrandizing as Brady can be, he is at least following the game that he's watching, instead of doing whatever it is Romo does now. He still interjects his own career way too much, and the PBP guys he's with also do it too much...they were talking about him milking cows and shit on Sunday. Most of the people calling sports nowadays are insufferable twats who think it's about them. It's the same reason a guy like Vitale, who could be a sharp analyst when he wanted to be, became an insufferable douche. As soon as the commentator thinks he or she is a "brand", it's all over. Danielson got that way. Collinsworth has always been arrogant. And of course Derpstreit is the King Kong Bronzer of overbranding.

There are some guys that aren't bad...Moose, Vilma, Kevin Harlan, Ian Eagle is OK...but they are few and far between.

12-2 and feel like I’m doomed.

Semis.

QB - Williams, Dart (probably Williams due to Dart being concussed)
RB - Bijan, Irving, Swift (starting these), White, Knight (drop options)
WR - JSN, Doubs, Moore, Higgins, Iosivas (drop option)
TE - Kelce, need to pick someone up
K - Aubrey
Def - Broncos, Rams

Here’s top waiver options:
I’ve got a 25 bid on Shultz. Worried about Kelce. Any other options or suggestions?

2025 Cotton Bowl: #2 tOSU vs #10 Miami-FL, Wed 12/31 7:30 ET at JerryWorld

Once Hartline took the job, the option set for Day in this playoff run is: zero Hartline / leave the team, or 50% of Hartline with planned contingency / gap fill from Day and others. He's chosen the second. Makes sense to me.

The issue with the Indiana game was everyone thought it was 100% of Hartline, but then it wasn't, with zero time to put in a contingency, right after an already emotional high. It was worst case scenario.

This next game is a totally different setup. Everyone knows the constraints and expectations and have a month to work it out. I expect the offense to look much better

Texas Longhorns (big hat, no cattle; please don’t Horns Down us)

He's back, which is not really a surprise.

Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

Login to view embedded media Sorsby is the definition of MID. I've watched several UC games in person and even watched at times from home. He's not a good QB, he played in a mid conference. I'm hearing that IU could be his next destination. Would be an interesting reach by Cig

aren't we going to need a 4th body in the QB room next year if Kienholtz leaves?

Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

If one wasn't paying attention....one might assume going to a school just because that school's rival didn't pick you is a stupid ass reason to go to that school. Good thing we were all paying attention and know better.
What I’m reading from scum insiders, and the tone of Biff’s recent interview, this won’t be the last transfer.

They're stacked at QB. Davis realized he'd never play even if Underachiever transfers. They've still got Herbie junior so they'll be fine.

How's the weather?

We're experiencing the rare phenomenon here in AZ where we have 40-45 degrees difference between night and daytime temperatures. Here at my place it's getting down into the low 40's at night and the low 80's during the day. We're right about at the average night time low for this time of year but about 20 degrees higher than the average high. I've been saying this all year, the weather has been wacky all year. Monsoon like thunderstorms with heavy rain out of season, both in spring and autumn. I have never seen that here in more than 30 years of living in this desert.
