Because you're only young once and had the rest of his life to work for a living. He's playing for a living in college and loves emerge he's at. Sometimes you can't put a price on that. Actually getting a grip while he's doing it also is certainly a huge bonus

In-State IOL offer Davis Seaman tells Greg Smith that Auburn and PSU are recruiting him the hardest. PSU would make sense as Matt Campbell is an OH guy. I was curious if we were still pushing here since we already have 3 IOL committed. Doesn’t sound like we are. I believe Bowen will take two pure OTs and one more swing guy.

After naming Bama and OSU his top2 a month ago, IOL Reed Ramsier now has a top3 of FL, Miami, and Auburn. Similar to Davis Seaman that I shared above, I think we're set at IOL and moved on. I'm still expecting us to spend big for a 5*-type OT, and an additional OT (such as Kalis or Johnson), and possibly another swing player.
Fight it all you want, it isn’t indentured servitude. You can’t make him stay and play for you. (And why would you want a guy playing that is being forced to?)
If another company is willing to pay the penalty for breaking the contract, that’s the end of the story.
Opposite. I knew full well with NIL and the portal that talent would even out. It's why I thought it was ludicrous about people crying about the rich getting richer. There are plenty of rich non-blue blood powers that could throw obscene amounts of money at recruits. Hell I'm sure Yale and Harvard could probably stack 5-stars if they actually gave a fuck about college athletics in this new world.
Not to single out LSU, but differing donor priorities is just another reason why Harvard has a $57 billion dollar endowment and LSU has a $1 billion dollar endowment.
