I'm still annoyed that the Big Ten watched *ichigan walk up the street, break into every house, steal what they want, and then on to the next house. The Big Ten could have stopped *ichigan. Instead, they let them walk into the Big Ten's house and steal the championship trophy.
Then... the playoff committee celebrated *ichigan's cheating and invited them into the 4-team playoff.

It's gotta be both. When you get caught stealing, you don't have the option of giving it back OR going to prison. You obtained something illegally that doesn't belong to you. I said it poorly. The coaches obviously aren’t competing for the same dollars as players.

They are, however, seemingly wanting to go back to the days where the kids weren’t paid. It’s the hypocrisy of the whole “for the good of the game” bullshit. Bad for the game if players are paid but coaches can bail from team to team for millions a year and it’s perfectly fine.
