Cincinnati Reds (2025 is our year! Haha thats actually funny)

Please God don't tell me the bullpen has infected the starters. Singer has been so strong this year and right now he looks timid.

One of the hidden issues with our starters is they are generating the 3rd lowest groundball rate in MLB

If/when it finally warms up and GABP starts really being GABP, their numbers are going to get worse.

When did they ever initially play a meaningful game before?
December 6, 1969.

I can still remember where I was when James Street threw a deep ball on 4th down to set up the winning TD for Texas in a 15-14 classic. It was #1 vs #2 in Fayetteville.

Of course it only became that after a certain 24-12 upset 2 weeks earlier in the Whore up North.

Death threats are unacceptable and it blows my mind when that happens in the US, especially in sports. That said, let's be real. The world is a pretty screwed up place and death threats are not all that uncommon. Apartheid-era police often stopped researchers driving home at night with guns to the forehead..."you have been warned". I received several anonymous death threats over the years, even ones including family members or other members of management or business school leadership. There wasn't one time that the police could not identify the person pretty quickly. I hope that they got whoever threatened a kid playing football.

Wright State hangs on late to win 5-4, knocks No. 1 national seed Vanderbilt out of NCAA regionals

Griffen Paige gave up two runs on one hit across eight-plus innings, Boston Smith and Luke Arnold hit back-to-back homers early, and Wright State held off Vanderbilt in the ninth to knock the No. 1 national seed out of the NCAA Tournament with a 5-4 victory in the Nashville Regional on Sunday.

The Commodores (43-18) became the first No. 1 national seed to fail to reach their regional final since the tournament went to its current format in 1999.

Wright State (39-20), the No. 4 regional seed out of the Horizon League, plays Louisville in the final Sunday night. The Raiders would have to beat the Cardinals in that game and again Monday to reach a super regional for the first time.

Paige (2-3) walked six, struck out two and allowed Brodie Johnston’s second-inning home run during his 113-pitch outing.

“Biggest game I’ve ever pitched in, and I showed up and went out there trying to get guys out, one out at a time, one pitch at a time. You can’t do anything else,” Paige said.

Just sayin': Wright fricken State!!! Why couldn't the Ohio State baseball team (who went 13-37, and 5-25 in the B1G this past season) recruited some of those guys?....:mad2:

G Myles Herro (Official Thread)

If he can shoot anywhere like his brother, we're in business.
Just sayin': If he could shoot like his brother, he'd be a 5 star recruit and probably be going to Duke.....
Hopefully, he is just a "late bloomer" and develops into a "marquee player" down the line.
