2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

Just sayin': Stalions has a degree from the Naval Academy and is a retired Marine Corp Captain as a logistics officer; I would think that he could qualify for some decent job not related to college football.
Sure, there are still places for fluffers on porno sets, right?

The real chocking was in the women's final: #8 Swaitek beat #13 Anisimova 6-0, 6-0

Here's an announcement at Wimbledon you don't here at too many tennis matches:

During the men’s Final today, a champagne cork fell onto the court between points, I think it was sometime when Sinner was serving in the middle of the third set. You can’t wait until a service game is over before popping a cork? Most games on grass only last a couple of minutes.

first of all, he was not in the Corps long enough to have retired

second of all, it was HIS unbelievably careless operational security that got the cheaters so thoroughly busted. If you’re running a spying operation and your OpSec is that ridiculous, I wouldn’t hire you to clean a toilet
This.
Just sayin': I just quoted Google AI. He was only in for 5 years. Yeah, I know you have to have 20 years in to actually retire with a pension.

Google AI: Connor Stalions retired as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps in 2022 after serving five years as a Logistics Officer. He then joined the University of Michigan football program in an official role as an analyst. He was later implicated in a sign-stealing scandal and resigned from his position at Michigan in November 2023. Stalions is currently the defensive coordinator at Mumford High School in Detroit.

Apparently Google AI uses a lose internet definition of retire:
What does it mean for someone to retire?
Retirement is the withdrawal from one's position or occupation or from one's active working life.
If he got out after 5 years, he didn't "retire." He separated. There is a huge difference. And I don't know if it's him inflating his service by saying he's "retired" or just media yahoos saying that not knowing the proper terminology. But trust someone who did retire from the armed services, he isn't "retired."

He and Ono can get jobs together at Obetz Tech.

(Spoiler if people are somehow watching delayed)

Sinner gets his punch back vs Alcaraz. Such a solid, consistent player. Dominant on serve after choking the 1st set.

Let’s do round 3 between these two in Artur Ashe in a couple months.

Retired as a captain? A rimgknocker should be a/an LTC by 20 years, even if most of his time were in the reserves. So if he put in 20 and only made captain, he must be a one-trick dud.

I think that's one of those things civilians don't get. I had a neighbor when I was living in the hood in Columbus, had everyone all impressed in the neighborhood cuz he was a 20 yr retired vet in the airborne infantry.
Problem was he got out as an e-5.

Came here to post this. One was The Game 2022. This fucking weasel goes on to say they lost 3 because they didn't tackle well and Georgia was "historically good".

Then professor dickwad says they won the other 4 because - " we dominated the line of scrimmage & tackled well. Blocking, ball security, tackling, run fits & coverage tools".

Well no fucking shit, Charlene. You can be be ultra aggressive and sound to run fits when you know the God damn play. And "coverage tools"...? Once again, It's simple to adjust alignments and overplay route concepts with leverage when You. Know. The. Fucking. Play.

This hack couldn't cut it as a high school DC, knows fuck all about the game of football beyond signal deciphering, and somehow thinks using these types of lines explains their performance?

Anyone who has so much as set foot on the field at any point in their lives will read through this bullshit and roll their eyes. He's an analytics geek who wanted to get into coaching by swinging on weasel nutsack. Only he never learned anything about coaching because he was too busy turning football into a game of ' I spy'.

I usually don't condone needless violence. But the fact nobody swung on this dude after the scandal broke is an absolute travesty.
Saw some fuck on Reddit trying to excuse the TCU game bc "Edwards had shitty vision" and they were missing Corum. Huh......he seemed to have REALLY GOOD vision on a few plays in the 2nd half against us.

Unless Stalions cut some big tell-all deal behind the scenes, Dude is getting a lifetime ban. Even if he cooperated, I'd guess the show cause will be substantial.

Earle Bruce (OSU HOF, CFB HOF, R.I.P.)

For all his faults I always feel like Earle was my coach. Just the age I was during his tenure I guess.

Cooper was something that was done to me.

Tress,Urban and Day are just coaches of my favorite team. Love them when they win but the only guy I like even at 9-3 was Earle.

Just sayin': His 1st year as head coach was undoubtedly his best year. With Woody's players he went 11-0 (#1 in the AP) during the regular season and probably lost a National Championship to USC in the Rose Bowl 16-17. After that he turned into "9-3 Earl".

RB Quinshon Judkins (National Champion, Cleveland Browns)

He was a known “head case” coming from Ole Miss….relatively surprised there wasn’t any public drama/issues in his one year at tOSU.

I guess the difference was what is at stake. At OSU, he knew he couldn’t fuck around and get in trouble otherwise he wouldn’t make it to draft day. Now that he was drafted and under signed contract, it’s a different story.
