Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

ok this is actually super gross. It was sort of funny before when we weren’t losing a ton of players but for Washington to lose Williams and for teams best players to bail? Thats disgusting.

NCAA won’t do anything because they’re spineless cowards but something needs to be done. Maybe require 2 year at a school before being given a 1 year transfer? Something.

But this is ridiculous
You can put clawbacks in a contract but the ship has sailed on forcing kids to stay. SCOTUS said so.

As disappointed as we are right now, if you had told me we would beat TSUN and lose in the second round of the CFP before the season, I would have taken it. Hopefully Matty P can do it again next year, but the offense should be light years better. Maybe, rather than playing slow to stay fresh, play fast and roll in more players to get a similar number of reps per player as playing slow.

If you would have told me that in the beginning of the season, I’m not sure that I would have taken it. I really enjoyed Natty run…

But I’d be a liar if I didn’t say that I’m sitting here typing this and still feel pretty good about the season. Even after the Natty there was something that just felt hollow about it. I’m pretty sure that it was the W in AA (as to why I feel good this year). At least, that’s what I’m attributing it to.

I’m not sure that I’d feel that way every year, but for this year? Damn, it feels good to be a gangsta.

2026 tOSU Offense Discussion

Agreed.

Problem is you can’t be all things all times. It’s hard to deviate from what you primarily do no matter what it is.

But in-game with the skill advantage I’d go faster at first build the lead, grab an “extra” possession before the half etc if my team could do it well. I’d consider the possibility of it failing and weigh the risk /reward.

In 2025 I don’t think Sayin could do it well. Kid just wasn’t ready to be that guy yet no matter what.
Yup. I think that the pace of play was dictated by Day not wanting to destroy a QB. It will be very interesting to see what happens next year. Sadly, there’s too many variables in play to really determine if it was related to Sayin being young or if it was the OC or what.
