2026 Spring Practices, Spring Game, and other Tidbits

Live practice like that was good/great way to see some of the newbies in live situation. Sure, the D was limited in what they could do, no blitzs, stunts, crosses, etc. Agree with most that the OL not up to par, but season doesn't start for a bit. No QB issues, the maturation process will take time. Wanted to see more of the 'insurance' QB, in case Sayin gets smooshed. Not a fan of 'touch', but no one wants injuries in an exhibition. Maybe am being a Pollyanna, but don't believe that tOSU cannot overcome any of the many problems they're facing before season opens. Pleasantly surprised that Sayin seems a bit 'thicker', hold up better, and maybe hoof a first down or TD when WRs covered. And my old eyes couldn't catch the names on the helmets, and enough numbers have changed that couldn't get a read on who's who. Tried to keep eyes on the OL, see who's in (Greer, etc), but the camera man wouldn't cooperate. Anyway, anyone see Dinardo review the Spring Game? So look forward to the B10 'team' visiting practices and then sitting down to review......happy summer all.

Asinine Conspiracies

That being said I think the original idea of @Zurp 's post was about low IQ people not changing their mind. I do find that women can be hard headed about changing their mind about something they've learned or something that they feel strong about. They're emotional creatures and don't process data, reason or logic in the same way that men do. They're also very prideful and will dig in and double down when their beliefs are challenged. It's just they way it is.
Agreed. And, in all seriousness, my wife is a very smart person. I don't mean to imply that she isn't. I don't remember why I brought her into this.
Anyway, the story with the bathroom was that she says that I leave lights on all the time, so when she saw the light on in the bathroom, she assumed that I had just left it on. That bathroom door swells in the summer humidity and cannot be closed all the way (or locked) about 6 months of the year. Therefore, since the light was on, it must have been my fault.
Also, to be fair, you say that women can be hard-headed about changing their minds. I think most of us can be like that. Talk to a Penn State fan about whether Joe Paterno knew about Sandusky. Talk to a TCUN fan about Connor Stalions. Or a Steelers fan about whether Tomlin really wanted to tackle that one guy. Or a Bama fan over whether their team was paying players before NIL became legal. There's a lot of people who have deep beliefs in their religion.

Anyway, back on topic. When Artemis 3 goes to the moon (next year?) will the astronauts be armed so as to defeat any hostile aliens they encounter?

Or will they meet all the David Hasselhoff clones the East Germans were creating? (You heard me correctly.)

HS Swim Team - any experience?

Played and coached D3 - recruits essays really blow you away and turn into fantastic academic scholarships  Where there is a will there's a way and a work around when it comes to the top programs in D3, either way I have a feeling things will work out just fine for your son!
there's a reason Mt Union and Wisconsin Whitewater are always at the top - the first school that reached out to him actually only has 2 male swimmers on the roster right now, LOL
