I was thinking based on the roster this should be a top-25, Sweet 16 type of team. Seems one of the analytics guys backs that up. Overall, it will heavily depend on how well Anthony Thompson can come in and be the man.

I don't have the energy to waste any sports teams anymore but I remember one game that fueled my disgust against them. 1984, they had just traded for Dennis Eckersley and he was starting against Mario Soto, Wrigley field. Ron Cey hit a long fly ball down the left field line that was at first called a home run then over ruled. It lead to a bench clearing brawl. I'll never forget that game. I also remember a Mario Soto game against the Cubs at Riverfront. Soto struck out 4 Cubs in one inning. One batter, forgot who, reached first on a passed ball on strike 3. Then there was the Tom Browning game where he snuck out of the stadium to watch the game from the rooftop. 80's baseball memories. I saw all 3 games as they happened

Great comp and 100% agree on it...size, intelligence, accuracy....special level of talent. He's not the tallest of QBs but you'd never know it as he has no issues seeing over the line and has a very similar throwing motion. His anticipation and accuracy make him a sure fire 1st rounder imo....modern day NFL eats up his efficiency.

My wife came along by accident, her parents were in their mid 40's when she was born. They're depression era Brooklynites and they instill that mindset into her. In 30 years we've only had visitors a handful of times because she's convinced that everyone who steps through the door is critiquing her cleaning, decorations.... everything. That's fine though. It's too much stress so I let it go. As long as no one is expected it's all good.
