last nights game was truly something....
TBH, Cincinnati has always had talent, but OSU hasn't always ventured into Cincinnati. Tressel was known to hardly ever recruit the 513, and Urban and now Day have done their best to close the gap and mend(or even create) the relationships. And there is the issue that many in Cincinnati don't feel like their part of the state, and act like CIncy is part of KY, or aren't big fans of OSU. I'd say ND, UC, UK and Louisville all have just as big of a following down here. There's certainly a little brother mentality down here in regards to the rest of the state. I always joke that you don't enter OH truly until you to DaytonHas anyone else noticed that Cincinnati schools are producing more, and better recruits than Cleveland (and nearby environs), and certainly more than Columbus? And drilling a bit deeper, more recruits from Watterson than the entirety of the Columbus Public Schools? (Could add DeSales in there as well). What sort of secret sauce does Cincy have?
There was no settlement for Tatgate. The more aggressive they were the more attention they got.The comical contrast by the media when it comes to Tat Gate and scUMs cheating is pretty disgusting
A lot of the narrative was that Ohio State should get some form of death penalty. Meanwhile when it comes to scUMs cheating it has mostly been laughed off as "no big deal" and they constantly go out of their way not to talk about it as much as possible and only fluff up Michigan.
“See how he goes left here? For people at home, in football you can go right, you can go left or you can go straight. See how he immediately decides to go left and uses his legs to run with!?”It’s officially “watch old games while on the treadmill” time of the year for me, and I’ve come here to reinforce how unbelievably stupid and useless the “Herbie’s clicker” analysis is…. oooooh, he makes the video go back and forth repeatedly while talking about the play!
It’s an annoying gimmick built entirely on people’s internet-conditioned lizard brains liking to see images rapidly looping and zero percent on Herbie saying something helpful or insightful about the play.
I guess Narduzzi is right. The ACC is superior to the Big10.Great news for Miami fans, at least per AI. This is what Google's AI Overview gave me when I did a search (I was trying to see how high an SEC team made it in the playoffs).
AI Overview
The last three years of the College Football Playoff (CFP) feature the expanded 12-team format (first played in 2024–25) and include the following national champions and notable results:
College Football Playoff - Official Athletics Website
- 2025–26 Season: Miami won the National Championship, defeating Indiana 27-21. Miami advanced by beating Ole Miss 31-27, while Indiana beat Oregon 56-22 in the semifinals.
To be fair to AI, google’s ai is one of the shittiest
To be fair to AI, google’s ai is one of the shittiestSome days I get really impressed with AI. Then I get results like this from Google's AI Overview.

Tennessee has OSU exactly where they want them
