Peacock might do better by 'renting' the announcing duo from another network. Their guys are more about trying to show how smart/experienced/knowledgeable etc they are, rather than reporting what's going on, versus supplying 'color'. Camera crews also seem like they were picked up from the unemployment line, rather than trained professionals. Since Ohio State games are always watched live, and taped, cannot go back and speed through the commercials, as not allowed.

Not entirely certain where this SEC dictates tOSU path is all about. Please give an instance or three. And yeah, if tOSU is not involved, I'll most likely root for a B10 team, as long as not named for a state shaped like a mitten. Might get up and walk around outside during the game, but still hope 'our' teams beat 'their' teams. One wants to negotiate from a position of strength, and right now, appears the mindset is that B10 is a smidge more powerful than the SEC, if not throughout the line-up, but at least the top several teams.

Probably correct, just wondering if a low-cost living area might squeak by with a lower offer. But then factoring in the internet, the recruits might speak with each other. It used to be verboten to ask a colleague what they made. Group of us once did that, and it raised all sorts of heck when the females (equally bright and educated) made less than the males (who - me- made less with an MBA from tOSU versus Harvard/Stanford). We all got a stern talking to by our supervisor.

Every other streaming service I have tried has worked well for me in terms of data integrity, buffering and latency. Peacock has been utter trash. Combine that with the fact that I have become borderline ambivalent about this sport, I’m just going to find other things to do when the game is on Peacock. Shoot, I might find something better to do when it’s not
